If you are looking for a fun weekend activity, I highly recommend a trip to Nashoba Valley Winery in Bolton. The winery offers wine tours, wine tastings, lunch outside at the Vinter’s Knoll Restaurant, and apple picking. You can purchase your favorite wines at the wine shop.
Our group of five enjoyed a wine tasting and lunch at Vinter’s Knoll. The weather was perfect for eating outside, and we ordered a bottle of wine. We chose the Mead, which was very refreshing and tasty.
The restaurant, tastings and apple picking are available during the week, but wine tours only occur on the weekends. Reservations for the restaurant are recommended on holidays and weekends. Vinter’s Knoll is open 11 am – 4 pm daily. J’s Restaurant is now only open Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 4:30 pm – 7:30 pm. The retail store is also open daily.
Nashoba Valley Winery also offers spirits from its distillery and beer and cider from its brewery. While both the distillery and brewery are not open to the public currently, plans are to offer tours in the future.
