The former Brewer’s Coalition space at 344 Walnut Street in Newtonville will not remain empty for long. A new location of Donut Villa Diner, which operates retro-style diners in Malden and Cambridge, will be opening soon in the former Brewer’s Coalition space at 344 Walnut Street.

According to the Boston Globe, the restaurant’s menu will feature a range of breakfast and lunch options (such as pancakes and sandwiches), doughnuts (of course), and an array of cocktails. Unlike the other two locations, the Newtonville spot will feature a bar and be open until 1 a.m.

The Newtonville spot will have a full liquor license and be open Monday – Sunday from 6 a.m. – 1 a.m. According to city records, the space will have 101 seats inside and 36 on the patio.

Donut Villa Diner opened in Malden in 1972 and expanded to Central Square in Cambridge last year. Brewer’s Coalition closed in February after ten years.
