A well-known group of sushi restaurants expands to Newtonville, with Fuji at Newton opening on Walnut Street (within the Trio complex). The sushi spot is the tenth location for the JP Fuji Group, joining locations in Somerville, the South End, and High Street Place, among others.
Fuji at Newton’s menu offers large-scale food options from refined makimonos, mouthwatering wok-tossed dishes and customary classics. A masterful mix of cocktails, wine and spirits harmonize with the selected menu. Omakasé offerings will be available by reservation only and curated by the culinary master, Founder, and CEO Chef Jimmy Liang and Executive Head Chef Ming Cao.
This expansive space features sit-down dining, a large bar and a sushi bar. Accordion windows and two patios.
Fuji at Newton is open Sunday-Thursday from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. – 9:30 p.m. The address of the new spot is 239 Walnut Street, Newtonville.
